Diaper cake

had another opportunity to make a diaper cake :-) really fun !
this diaper cake is for a newborn baby girl :-)
a close up on the roses on the cake made from baby socks :-)
a gift for my girl's class teacher ;-)

Trike diaper

had fun with the sketch from Lili of the valley...used patterned papers from daisyD's. girl's dress was cut out from patterned paper and glued on to the stamped image then added lace and ribbon and pearls, cut out flowers from daisyD's patterned paper and layered to add to the effect...

'Spring!'

Stamped bird cage on gold paper and added glitter to the cage. added feathers for the bird too for some texture effect. and the chinese character meant 'Spring'

Did an envelope card - an accordion style card with a hidden envelope to put money or a little personal note :-) it's actually made for a friend's birthday :-)

A card for CAARDVARKS Challenge

Just came back from Kuala Lumpur, last minute decision to drive up to visit the grandparents during this Chinese New Year festival. Drove up yesterday, met up with my parents and brothers and their children and this morning, met up with a long time friend and my husband's mom and brother and his family.... was short but had a great time catching up :-) arrived home around 7.15pm, tired after a 4 hours drive back, traffic was pretty heavy otherwise would have reached in 3 hrs!
decided to try and complete the wedding card for the competition...just managed to finish the card.
