A birthday card for a girl who loves polka dots and dogs!
One of our local scrapbooking store requested a door hanging ornament with the words " I'm so loved" dedicated to Autism Awareness. The ornaments will then be given to the students at Pathlight (school for autistic children) so i do sincerely hope it will touch the child who's receiving it :-)
Managed to get this LO done... and submitted for a challenge in one of the local scrapbooking store... with the theme "Dare to tear" and limited to only 3 patterned papers; 3 stamped words or images and 3 diecuts/tags... hope it meets the requirements.... too tired now..gotta go sleep otherwise won't be able to get up tomorrow :-)
Finally, got down to scrapping a page...has been so busy with a few projects with the primary school... needed to make a 3D, life sized paper mache tree and it's taking longer than i anticipated... then needed to raise funds for choir; taking the opportunity since Mother's Day is coming...so a few choir moms got together to make cards and taking orders for flowers... gonna get even busier when the day comes...
sorry for not being able to upload anything lately...have been pretty busy with projects in school :-) anyway, made the eggs for a challenge in our local scrapbooking store. Prepared the eggs but only managed to get them done on the very last day of submission ! Had fun though, just wished i had more time to play around :-) Thanks for looking

bought a clipboard sometime back but have not done anything to it yet...so when i completed the project for my oldest girl, decided to play with the clipboard. Fun to alter this chipboard as it will be given to my youngest girl :-) unfortunately we do not have much opportunity to ride horses here (a pretty expensive activity) it's just that she loves 'horsing' around... heehaw!
How time flies! My oldest girl is turning 15 soon :-) and this is my gift for her.

Valentine is just round the corner...time really flies. Made this Valentine gift for my husband and girls whom gave me the meaning of LOVE :-) the photo didn't turn up sharp though, sorry about that. Thanks for looking.
Reunion Dinner is very much part of our Chinese traditon where family get together on Chinese New Year's eve. Since we came to Singapore in 2000, we had always been having our Reunion Dinner at a restaurant but decided to cook and eat at home this year. A very simple menu, we had Korean ginseng Chicken soup (which Gaby helped to cook), stewed mushrooms and Sonny cooked the prawns and abalone with broccoli and cauliflowers. we started off with 'Loh hei' with yu sheng from Shang Palace. Did a layout to remember this special occasion ;-)

Has been busy since school started and things are finally settling down :-) sat down and managed to complete this Valentine Card for the following challenges :
Had been busy at school, being an active parent volunteer ;-) Was supposed to do the 2008 events for the notice board since last year but kept putting it off due to other commitments. Finally, got it done. The teachers just wanted a recap of the events and activities in 2008 but i must say it has been a Good year ;-) The girls did very well and achieved Gold Award in SYF, AIMF and ABRSM Choral.
